Final Stats

Before the final statistics, I would like to say thanks to my Mom and Dad.  They dutifully, and without complaint, took care of our cats, and Dad even mowed our lawn twice, while we were gone.  Without them, this trip would have been much more difficult.

Sadly, our trip out west is complete.  We had a great time, saw a lot of wonderful sights, and had reasonably good weather (some heat, some rain, even some snow).

The good news is - No one went down, no one was injured, no traffic tickets were issued, and no mechanical failures occurred. No one went to the hospital, no one was drowned in the rain, and no one got lost. No animals were killed or run over, and no small children or old women were hurt. No tires went flat, no hotels were full, and no roads were impassable. No one got sick, no meals went uneaten, and no motorcycles were dropped or fell over.  :)

So, to the roads of the Southwest, we give you a thumbs-up, and say goodbye for now...

The final route mileage was 6363 miles.
